Baby and Mum Group

Feelings of anxiety, low confidence, low mood and isolation are common among new mothers. When new mothers feel alone and have low self-esteem, it can also become more of a struggle to get out of the home, especially if there is no place to go and no opportunity to share how they are feeling. These feelings can be improved by meeting others, building friendships and discovering that many of their worries are shared by other parents; they are not alone.

This 10-week group will allow mothers to allay fears, gain confidence in talking with others and most importantly, make lasting friendships. With their confidence developing, new parents are more likely to try other outings, meet more people, make more friendships and feel improvement in their mental health.
