Preparing to be Dad & Preparing to be Mum
Preparing to be Dad
Becoming a father is an exciting and life-changing experience — and this half-day course is designed to help dads-to-be feel confident, supported, and ready for the journey ahead.
In a fun, practical, and hands-on session led by an experienced male facilitator, you’ll explore the vital role dads play before and after baby’s arrival. You’ll also build useful skills such as holding, changing, and bathing your newborn. To complement this, an antenatal female practitioner will join to answer any technical birthing questions and offer expert insight.
Alongside the practical learning, the course focuses on dads’ wellbeing and provides a relaxed space to connect with other expectant fathers, share ideas, and ask questions. You’ll leave feeling prepared, reassured, and inspired about the kind of father you want to be.
“If you want to have reassurance about becoming a father, then this is the place to go”.
