Further to Government advice given on 16th March 2020, the Home-Start Board have made the decision to temporarily halt our “normal” offer to local families in Bracknell Forest until further notice.
From today we are advising all our volunteers and staff to no longer visit families in their homes. Our current Mums Fitness Group will be postponed, as will our current volunteer preparation course.
Volunteers, who are currently supporting a family, will continue to support them via telephone support. Families will also be contacted regularly by their Home-Start co-ordinator and also advised that they may contact the office for support via telephone, email , Facebook and through our website ‘chat’ service.
We will continue to accept referrals for new families at present but please bear in mind that we cannot allocate a home visiting volunteer to them, we can provide some telephone support and once it is safe to do so we can arrange to visit them.
At present and until further notice our office remains open, We will keep you updated with any changes as they happen.
