Home-Start Bracknell Forest has been nominated for the King’s Award for Voluntary Service – the highest award given to volunteer groups across the UK!
This incredible honour is thanks to our amazing volunteers, who, alongside our Manager, staff, and Trustees, give their time, energy, and compassion to support families across Bracknell Forest. Together, they help parents build confidence, reduce isolation, and create brighter futures for children.
Our Head of Service, Sharon Kearins, and long-standing volunteer of 25 years, Anne Jenkins, proudly received our nomination certificate from the Lord Lieutenant and his team. It was an inspiring day, celebrating alongside so many charities doing life-changing work in their communities.
