In 2023, we proudly celebrate 30 incredible years of Home-Start’s unwavering support for our beloved Bracknell Forest families. Throughout these three decades, we’ve been the guiding light for countless families in our community, ensuring parenting journeys and childhoods are filled with positivity and hope.
To mark this significant milestone and honor the remarkable families we’ve had the privilege to support, we’re hosting a very special Town Celebration event right in the heart of Bracknell Town Center on Saturday, November 4th.
Our mission? Two-fold! Firstly, we’re excited to shine a brighter spotlight on Home-Start within our local community. Secondly, we’re kicking off a year of fundraising with a bold target: raising £30,000. These funds are vital for us to sustain and expand our essential support to local Bracknell Forest families in need of a helping hand.
To make the day even more memorable, we’ve got some fantastic, free activities lined up for the kids. While small donations are much appreciated, every single penny raised will go directly towards our mission of reaching out to and helping Bracknell Forest families who are facing challenges while raising their young children.
Join us in our celebration as we look back on three decades of impact and step forward towards an even brighter future. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Activities
We’re thrilled to have the support of wonderful local businesses and individuals who are teaming up with us to host the fantastic activities for children listed below…
Tinkers – The incredible and super fun Jem from Tinkers will be entertaining the kids with fabulous art activities!
Downey Crafts – Chris and Sallyann from Downey Crafts will inspire creativity as they engage the children in craft projects!
Little Leapers – We will have a super special guest appearance by the Little Leapers team, along with surprise visits from Bluey at 10am and 12pm!
Toy Tombola – With a small donation, you can enter and have the chance to win fantastic prizes at our fabulous toy tombola!
Face paints and Glitter Tattoos – Our team will be offering exciting glitter tattoos and vibrant face painting for all ages to enjoy!
Spiderman – Spiderman is taking the day off from capturing bad guys and will be swinging into town and “sticking around” to capture pictures instead! Bring your “web”-cams!
