We’re recruiting for a passionate individual to help us secure vital funds and build strong connections to support Home-Start Bracknell Forest. As our Fundraising and Engagement Officer, you will play a central role in generating income from Trusts, Foundations, businesses, donors, and the local community. Ideally, you’ll bring experience in fundraising, but we’re committed to supporting the right candidate to succeed in this exciting role.

You’ll work closely with the Scheme Manager and Fundraising Trustee to implement innovative fundraising strategies, promote our work across various media platforms, and engage with stakeholders to raise awareness of our mission.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact, enabling the continuation and expansion of our services that support local families in need.

Fundraising & Engagement Officer

Part-time 21 hours a week (9am – 3pm / 4 days) Hybrid working
Salary: £16,912 pa

Essential Requirements

• Experience in raising funds from Trusts, Foundations, businesses, or through community initiatives. This could be from a paid or voluntary role.
• Excellent communication skills; demonstrable experience of writing concise persuasive text for different audiences including using storytelling techniques
• Experience of developing relationship with donors and funders
• Driven, and task-focused, with the ability to work independently to agreed work-plan and targets
• An understanding of systems to support effective fundraising and reporting
• Competent in Microsoft Office packages including Excel and PowerPoint
• Digital skills, and experience using social media to create dynamic visual content
