Home-Start Bracknell Forest is a family support charity committed to improving family life. We believe that every
parent should have the support they need to give their children the best start in life.
If you have experience in childhood early years, perinatal mental health or family support, we’d love to hear from you.
We are committed to helping families with young children through their challenging times. Our co-ordinators build
strong relationships with local families, working with them to identify their needs, match them to a trained volunteer
and regularly review progress. They provide support, supervision and ongoing training to existing volunteers and train
new volunteers. Alongside this, they plan and deliver family groups and projects.

Family Support Co-ordinator
Bracknell Forest
Part-time 24 hours a week (9am – 3pm / 4 days) Hybrid working.
Salary: £17,584pa

Essential Requirements
• experience of working with families & children
• sensitivity and excellent communication skills
• good interpersonal skills and a positive team player
• experience of planning and delivering training programs and groups
• experience in supervising and supporting staff/volunteers
• knowledge of safeguarding procedures
• confident computer skills
• are a car driver (use of a car is essential)
